Scarlet Hope exists to share the hope and love of Jesus with women in the adult entertainment industry.

VISION

Our vision is to see women in the adult entertainment industry engaged with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching them they are loved by the Creator of the universe and were made in His image while equipping and empowering them to change their lives through gospel-centered community and resources.

HISTORY

Scarlet Hope began in 2007 when our Founder, Rachelle Starr, was called to bring the hope and love of Jesus with women in the adult entertainment industry of Louisville, KY by serving a home-cooked meal and forming relationships with the women working there.  Through a variety of God-sized circumstances and actions, Tami Majtan, a volunteer for Scarlet Hope Reno, moved to Nashville, TN with her family. Almost immediately, she knew she wanted to start a Scarlet Hope in her new city. Through much prayer, patience, and excitement, Scarlet Hope Nashville officially launched on September 5th, 2019, 11 years to the day that Rachelle first walked into a club and shared the hope and love of Christ with the women there!

ABOUT THE
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

There have only been a few times in Tami’s life where God’s calling was so loud and undeniable that it could not be ignored, and one of those times was when she first began ministering to women in the adult entertainment industry in her then hometown of Reno, NV.  Tami knows her purpose in life is to proclaim hope, restoration, and freedom in Christ to women in the adult entertainment industry. After moving to Nashville, TN, she felt called to start a Scarlet Hope in her new city and Scarlet Hope Nashville officially launched in 2019.  Tami and her husband, Dustin, have been happily married for 23 years, have three fantastic kids through the blessing of adoption, and are totally in love with southern living.
